So, I Made My 1st Degree... Now what happens?

Welcome, Knight. So you've made your 1st degree and have your 1st degree membership card; what do you do next?  What do you "have" to do?

The simple answer is NOTHING, but as a charitable organization, we hope that you will want to get involved and do "something." So how do you get involved?

The best way is to attend regular council meetings. These are held at our council home every 1st Wednesday of the month, starting at 7:30PM, and remember to bring your membership card!) at the meeting, you will be welcomed, and you will get a feel for what we do and the various on-going committees and events and special one-time projects that are happening.

For example, a brother might announce that he needs help setting up for a charity fundraiser, or setting up for a yardsale, helping deliver food for People Helping People, etc.?.... So come on down to the council hall next Saturday at 8:30AM.?  If you are free and feel so moved, just show up! You never even have to raise your hand and promise to be there.

Other times you might want to take a more "formal" role and commit to some event as part of a team of brother knights. You might even have some special new project YOU think worthwhile; propose it to your new brothers and make it happen! And maybe you are busy with home life and can't spare time right now; that's OK, we are happy to have you just attend the meetings and stay informed.

All councils work together. All brothers work together. We share. We help others.
